Setting Up Of Senior Citizens Voluntary Service Association/Network
A scheme for setting up of Senior Citizen Voluntary Service Association/Network was launched during the year 2008-09 by the Haryana Government. Under this scheme grants-in-aid are sanctioned to the registered societies headed by the Deputy Commissioners. Under this scheme there is a provision to award an outstanding association/ organization, every year on the occasion of International Senior Citizen Day. In 13 districts of the State such organizations are working till date.
